IRC Livestock Officer Job Opportunity In Galkacyo, Somalia

Scope: Since its inception in 1933, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has been a global leader in emergency response and providing durable solutions for conflict- and crisis-affected populations. The IRC has been active in South Sudan since 1989, supporting communities, government offices, and local civil society organizations to deliver education, protection and rule of law, health, environmental health, women’s protection and empowerment, and economic recovery and development programming.

The Livestock Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Livelihoods Officer (LPO) and the overall guidance of the Project Coordinator. He/She will also work in close coordination with the rest of IRC’s program and operation teams in Galkacyo. The position holder will be required to provide strong technical support and leadership in the planning, Coordination implementation, monitoring and reporting of all livestock based programming in the field.
