organisation. The Policy and Advocacy Division leads the development
and implementation of advocacy strategies to achieve policy and
political change at the highest level; leading and managing Save the
Children’s advocacy engagement with the UK government, international
institutions and the private sector; providing policy intelligence to
the wider organisation; and forging advocacy alliances with key opinion
makers in the UK and globally. We are recruiting for a Policy and
Research Adviser (Post 2015 Development Agenda) to join our dynamic
team.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who will undertake research and policy work to help shape Save the Children’s thinking on the post 2015 MDG agenda and to support the development of central policy documents to contribute to national and regional advocacy, debates and dialogue. The post holder will have a demonstrable track record of success on advocacy and policy research, expert knowledge of economic and development policy issues, strong strategic thinking and analytical skills and excellent communication skills for external representation.
